SkinPulse 900 RF. One machine, multiple results!
Advanced light therapy using the latest generation of IPL devices is a safe technology for effective cosmetic skin treatments and permanent hair removal. The combination of highly energetic light (IPL) with radio frequency current (RF) is setting new standards in the treatment of skin and hair.
What do we use IPL for?
- Permanent hair removal
- Skin rejuvenation
- Treatment of Spider veins / thread veins (vascular lesions)
- Treatment of Rosacea
Permanent Hair Removal
Unwanted hair can be removed safely, gently and permanently.
This treatment involves shooting light pulses on the part of the body to be depilated using a wavelength spectrum matched to the skin and hair type. An ultrasound gel applied in advance allows the light to penetrate the skin almost vertically. The light energy is immediately converted into heat by the melanin (pigment) in the hair. This is channelled along the shaft of the hair down to the root and the underlying germ cells. The thermal reaction here causes irreversible damage to the nutrient cells of the hair root which are now unable to produce any more hairs.
As 10 – 25% of the body’s hairs are growing at any one time, it is necessary to repeat the treatment several times. Only growing hairs have a fixed connection in the follicle and the highest concentration of pigment. Hair follicles currently in their rest phase are therefore removed during their next growth cycle. Hair growth cycles occur every 3 to 12 weeks, depending on the part of the body.
For maximum results, we suggest 6-14 treatments at intervals of 3-12 weeks, depending on the hair thickness, skin colour and body part.
The most commonly found protein in the human body is collagen, which accounts for over 30% of the total weight of all proteins. The natural ageing process causes the firm collagen cells of youth to slowly but surely flatten out, as the body’s own production of collagen dwindles. The structure of the skin’s surface changes, fine lines form first, which can ultimately be discerned as lines.
For healthy, young and fresh looking skin, here’s how we do it!
Using IPL, we stimulate the formation of new collagen fibres. This has a visible smoothing effect on lines. Light in the 560-950 nm range is converted into heat. The energy this produces focuses on the deeper layers of the dermis, which contain the tear proof collagen fibres and elastic fibres. The treatment stimulates the skin cells to start producing skin-tautening collagen and elastin again.
Thread / Spider veins and Rosacea
Thread / Spider veins are tiny bluish or reddish varicose veins that typically occur on the lower legs and on the outside of the upper legs. They lie directly under the skin and disrupt the shimmering of the skin, above all cosmetically.
We can treat Spider / Thread Veins and Rosacea – HERE NOW!
Rosacea literally means small rose flowers is a skin disorder of the face of as yet unexplained origin, which manifests itself as blotchy, sometimes scaly redness as well as inflamed pustules and papules.
We can treat Erythrosis, Spider / Thread Veins and Rosacea – HERE NOW!
We shoot a controlled light pulse (585-950 nm) onto the affected area. The light pulse is absorbed in the dark-red, oxygen-rich blood of the vessel by the haemoglobin and converted into heat. This causes a sudden heating of the vessel, which clots the blood and “welds” the vessel shut. The body’s lymphatic system breaks down the coagulated blood into its constituent parts and transports them away naturally.
Treatment takes about 10 – 15 minutes. A course of 6 treatments is recommended, however, in some instances up to 10 treatments are required, depending on the seriousness of the condition.
Elimination of pigmentation disorders
Pigment spots tend to occur on places of the body that are particularly exposed to the sun, such as the backs of the hands, forearms, face and neckline. Fair skin, frequent or excessive sunbathing and hormonal influences all contribute to their formation. Ageing skin appears in many people from the age of 40; over 90% of 60 year olds are affected by pigment spots. The skin appears “blotchy” and exhibits “discolouration”. This is triggered by a change in the skin’s pigment cells, which produce the skin’s colouring (melanin).
